  We had lunch there yesterday. A lovely setting out of doors. In an area where good restaurants are sparse, we were thrilled to discover the Black Bear Restaurant. We had calamari and hot peppers as a starter. They were light and truly crisp. This was followed by a delicious mushroom risotto! There was a fine selections of deserts of which we had a sampling...all delicious.
  In addition to the outdoor seating there was a lovely dining room and a separate bar area with seating.
  We guarantee that you will be delighted by your visit to the Black Bear.

  The place is usually pretty empty, but Friday night it was crowded.
  The food is usually pretty good, but Friday night it was CRAP!!!
  The Chorizo was not only ROTTEN but UNCOOKED!!!
  Not undercooked, UN COOKED!!!
  Seems like they are struggling to stay open.
